RAIGE-O-LOGY

  We unboxed and set-up Gayle's Christmas gift of an aquarium. In the afternoon, we went to our cousins' house to celebrate Christmas.

My boss came back from his vacation and brought us back a box of polvoron. Of course these are different from the usual Filipino-made polvorons we are used to. Just the language on the packaging alone already declares “this polvoron came from another land that you will never be able to go to in your lifetime” The wrapper was properly sealed and upon opening, it gave the aroma of Middle Eastern sweets. I can tell that there was a hint of cardamom and lemon in there. The sweetness was a bit overpowering for my taste so had to wash it down immediately with water.

  Dave Chappelle, Neal Brennan, Mos Def, Snoop Dogg, & all those other goofs from Chappelle Show. They’d probably get high before rescuing me.
