  My bestfriend Moks helped me out with this prompt as she was craving some boba milk tea. 

  There is no autumn here in the UAE. We only have two seasons: either very hot or slightly cool. So I had to find another way to present autumn in a photo. A pumpkin is the closest thing we have to autumn here. 

  This has got to be the easiest of the prompts so far since our apartment is full of plants. My wife is what Filipinos would call a Plantita or someone who loves to collect plants. 

 

 

 

A pinkish purple banana? Well, that’s unexpected. 

Here’s another idea that I’ve always wanted to try but never had the motivation to do until I started this challenge - double exposure. I’ll need to try it again with another concept. This is a double exposure photo of my current selfie and a selfie from my high school days. This is my concept for today’s prompt, Memory.

iPhone 14 launched today and people queued as early as 4 AM in Dubai Mall. Meanwhile, I’m in a supermarket watching people wrestle each other for 0.99 dirham per kilo onions.

  **Not sponsored** I see a lot of product photography ideas on Instagram and wanted to try one of them for this bottle of perfume.  I like the shape, color, and design of this perfume bottle and love the result. Thinking of creative ways to showcase products like this is really challenging. This made me realize that I should practice more product photography.

Are they donuts? Are they mini pizzas? I don’t know, but they are yummy!

  My mother-in-law was on a video call with the family in the Philippines. Saw this opportunity to take a photo for this prompt while she was talking to her youngest grandchild.

  This figurine of Sado from One Piece caught my eye for today’s prompt because of his purple shirt.  Funny thing that I wanted to use a purple flame background. I never watched One Piece so I don’t actually know this character. After searching in Google I found out that his power was fire. I didn’t know that but I still somehow wanted to use fire as a background. It’s like it was in  the character’s aura to emit fire.

  Took us a while to find a playground with swing set but it was worth it.

  Todays prompt gave me the motivation to try this shot which I’ve always wanted to do. A long exposure shot of Clock Tower roundabout, a popular Dubai landmark. The shot has trailing lights from the cars passing by. This was done using the live - long exposure feature of my phone’s camera app. The result was decent though I may come back again soon to this location with a DSLR camera to try the same shot again.

My wife still sound asleep.

This restaurant near our apartment has this open roasting well displayed by the window. They cook fish and kebabs here.  I passed by the restaurant on my way home and saw the perfect opportunity for today’s prompt. The chef seen on the frame saw me taking the photo and gave me a thumbs up. Nice guy.

Electric scooters!

This is a maternity portrait for my niece. This is her first child.

  This is my interpretation of Back to School - my daughter walking our apartment building’s corridor to go outside and wait for the school bus. 

Excited about this prompt because I’ve always been interested in macro photography. Seeing everyday things in a different perspective like my toothbrush here is really fun to conceptualize.  Looking at it this close made me realize I need to buy a new one. 😅

Spilled milk is always a “whoops” moment for me.
