“This is all for you, Damien!”

Last night, I watched the movie "The Omen," and it completely terrified me!

Typically, I'm not a fan of scary movies. However, I had heard about this particular film and had been meaning to watch it for quite some time. The opportunity finally presented itself when it aired on Star Movies last night. This is the kind of scary movie I can handle, unlike brutally gory films like "Final Destination," "Saw III," or "Dawn of the Dead." I tend to lean towards what I consider "psychological" horror films, and "The Omen" delivered on that front in the most chilling way possible.

It's been ages since a movie has evoked such heightened senses in me. You know that feeling when every little sound in your house becomes amplified, and you find yourself investigating even the slightest noise, only to discover nothing out of the ordinary? Or when the slightest movement catches your peripheral vision, causing you to swiftly turn your head, only to realize it was just your own shadow? It's an incredibly eerie experience, my friend!

Now, I desperately need to get some sleep, for crying out loud!
