A Very Late New Year Post
First of all, Happy New Year!
I know we're already in the last week of January, but let's just pretend I follow a different calendar.
A lot of things happened last year, most of which were challenging. I experienced the loss of dear people and faced numerous trials. I don't even want to delve into those memories. The sad moments from last year have become an indelible part of my life—a gap that, no matter how much I try to forget, remains. And truth be told, deep down, I didn't really want to forget them.
Now, a new year has begun, marking the start of a new decade. Fresh opportunities are presenting themselves in life. I am united with the rest of humanity in the hope of making things right. No matter how tough life gets, a new day always brings hope and puts a smile on my face.
I don't usually express myself in such sentimental ways, but the past year has humbled me greatly. Beyond the difficulties, I see the people—both friends and family—who appreciate and support me. I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of these individuals. I don't need to mention names because they know who they are. I also humbly apologize for any shortcomings I may have. All I want to convey is that I'm putting in a sincere effort to become a better person.
Things are going to be different from now on, and I'll give my best to make positive changes.
