Lei & Erson’s Prenup Photoshoot

I had the privilege of shooting my friends’ prenuptial photos recently. It was a simple photoshoot, nothing too fancy. And anyway, I’m not really a professional. But I am really happy that they trusted me with this important milestone in their lives.

We went to one location which was in Creek Park, Dubai. We would’ve gone to more locations but it was the UAE summer and none of was wanted to pass out from the heat.

I was also ecstatic to try using a full frame camera for the first time. Got to borrow a Sony A7RII from another photographer friend, Jason Arquillano. 

It was a little challenging to transition to a full frame and different brand (my personal camera is a Nikon D5300), but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun! The results were also amazing. I love the bokeh and the sharpness of the subjects, though some of the photos may have too much of a blown-out background. This is something that I still have to improve on.
