TWD S4E5: Internment

- The “previously on AMC’s The Walking Dead…” intro shit showed some scenes about the prison fence, Hershel, and Carol so there’s a likely chance of something happening with them.

- Dogs can eat zombies.

- How can an old man with one leg be immune to a flu that has infected half of the people in the prison?

- “Let’s have Spaghetti Tuesdays on a Wednesday. First, we have to find some spaghetti.” And a better sense of humor.

- It’s weird how Hershel thought of spaghetti after this guy they were helping spit out some blood.

- The other sick people shouldn’t see Hershel and Glenn taking a dead guy out, and covering it with a blanket helps. Hershel apparently doesn’t want the sick people to see zombies in a zombie infested world.

- Hershel once said that every day we risk our lives, it’s just a matter of to whom we’re risking it for. And yet he won’t let his daughter Maggie help her fiancĂ© out in the isolation chambers.

- More and more zombies are gathered on one part of the fence with no explanation why. It couldn’t have been the few rats that they showed in the earlier episodes. The walkers already ate those fuckers up, what’s the point of gathering in that area? And only Maggie is keeping the walkers at bay. Could the walkers have somehow figured out that that part of the fence was vulnerable or would be vulnerable if they all pushed themselves there?

- Rick explained to Maggie in less than a minute what took him half of last week’s episode to figure out , and that was why he needed to let Carol go.

- Rick’s hat is back!

- A sad soul can kill quicker than a germ.

- Here goes Rick and Hershel again in their debate about faith and what not.

- If you’re closing the cells to prevent any zombies from going out, make sure to finish doing that first. Otherwise, you’re in for a lot of trouble.

- Wow. That escalated pretty quickly.

- You were fucking calling him to you, little girl. Why are you fucking screaming now that he’s on top of you?

- A prison door that needs to be opened from the inside? Really?

- What a weird yet touching father and son moment for Rick and Carl: securing fences so zombies would stay out.

- Again, wow. That escalated quickly.

- So Rick took away Carl’s gun because he apparently doesn’t want his son to use guns, and yet high powered rifles are easily accessible outside the prison.

- It only takes a few seconds to learn how to use an AK-47. Kids today are super-fast learners.

- Hershel needs to save Glenn’s life by sticking down his throat a hose that’s been inside a zombie’s mouth. Birlliant. Doesn’t he have a different hose or… oh wait, there it is.

- Wow. Rick and Carl got rid of all those zombies on their own. Why didn’t they think of doing that before the fence got destroyed instead of wasting time bracing the stupid fence with rotting wood which we all know, at the rate the zombies are gathering on that part of the fence, will eventually give way? Why didn’t they finish off all the zombies gathered there first and then secure the fence? Where’s the common sense, Rick? Well, I guess you can’t afford to doubt your stupidity nowadays.

- Hershel cries. Michonne throws out the dead bodies. Darryl needs to talk to Rick about Carol. Glenn lives through the night with Maggie taking care of him. Rick and Carl eat peas.

Oh, and the Governor’s back.
